|The present Bondi Pavilion dates back to 1928 when Waverley Council responded to the community and visitors needs by building the Pavilion and promoting it as "The Playground of the Pacific". Originally the Pavilion housed Turkish baths, a Ballroom, Palm Court and changing sheds in the back courtyard.
Bondi Pavilion Community Cultural Centre comprises a theatre, gallery, rehearsal, meeting and function rooms, art workshop, pottery and studios. Bondi Pavilion is the centre for major festivals and hundreds of performances throughout the year.
