Susan Ardern & Jane Flowers

& new works of gallery artists

Opening Saturday 7 June  4 to 6pm

The  Journey, opening at Seaview Gallery tells the stories of two artists, Susan Ardern and Jane Flowers - their distinctively different responses to life?s experiences. Jane?s paintings reflect her reaction to her travels throughout Australia, whereas Susan?s brings her personal life into her vibrant figurative canvases.

Susan Ardern, a popular local artist and musician in the Bellarine Region may be known to many for her colourful, almost fantasy-like paintings. Susan loves to develop a series of paintings, her story ?her journey" ? is told through paint, sculpture and many other creative forms. Paintings at this exhibition have been selected from various series, and will be accompanied by her intimate written thoughts.

Jane is a greatly sought after artist with Seaview Gallery. Known extensively for her large oils on canvas depicting her passion for the intense colours, patterns, textures and light inherent in our Australian landscapes and coastlines. Jane?s work is strongly influenced by her experiences, her travels and her reactionj to the environment.
