Opening drinks with artists Saturday 7 March 4 to 6pm

Jane and Georgie are renowned for their contemporary paintings, large and small canvases of land and seascapes.

Jane’s large oils on canvas show a passion for the colours, patterns, textures and light inherent in our Australian landscape and coastlines. Jane’s images reflect her love of sailing and the great outdoors her paintings are concerned with capturing the essence of a time and place.

Georgie explores the vast Australian landscape in an original, textual and contemporary way. Her cool misty silver birch textual forests contrast with her organic wheatfields. Her textual sea grasses contrast with the red ochres of the northern territory waterholes. Birdlife is in abundance in her smoky green vistas depicting Eastern Australian wetlands.

Apart from being represented in many Australian private and corporate collections, Georgie and Jane’s work can also be found in Europe, Singapore and the U.S.A.
