Limited access to the Gallery’s collection and changed entry procedures
12 November – 13 February 2009
Due to the replacement of the Gallery’s escalators and refurbishment of the Domain Theatre, from Wednesday 12 November to Friday 13 February 2009, there will be no access to Lower Level 2, Contemporary Art and Lower Level 3 Yiribana Gallery and no access to the Education Entrance from inside the Gallery.
Term 1 2009 Visits
As a result of the replacement of the Gallery’s escalators and refurbishment of the Domain Theatre, education group visits cannot commence until Monday 16 February 2009.

Please note: All bookings, serviced and self-guided, will only be accepted in writing via fax, online or by mail.
To make this process easier we have provided an Education Booking Request Form (online or printable) with all the required fields.
We do not take tentative bookings.
Gather the following information:
School/TAFE/University: Name and contact details
Department: Name and/or subject area
Teacher/Lecturer: Name, phone, fax, email address
Program: (for serviced booking) Name of discussion tour, study morning, studio session, artist workshop or art adventure tour desired
Viewing exhibition(s) and/or collection(s): One or both
Date: Have two alternative dates if your first preference is not available.
Time: Have two alternative times if your first preference is not available.
Students: How many students and what year level?

A minimum of 2 weeks' notice is required for a serviced booking.
A minimum of 1 week's notice for a self-guided visit booking.
Bookings will only be accepted in writing via fax, online or by mail.

Once your booking has been finalised you will receive a confirmation by fax within two working days and then an invoice/confirmation letter by mail.
Please check that all details are correct.
If there are any queries contact the Bookings Office immediately.
Please note: You will be invoiced for any programs and chargeable exhibitions you have booked. Exhibition entry fees are no longer paid at the entry desk on the day of your visit.
Payment in full must be received at least 5 working days prior to your visit.

Booking cancellations and changes
Cancellations and changes must be received by fax at least 2 working days prior to the scheduled booking.
Cancellations and changes received after this time will carry full liability for payment.
