Dr George Michell, an international expert on Indian art and architecture and author of numerous publications on India's kingdoms and sultanates, will be visiting Australia in March and April 2004 to present a series of eight lectures:

This VisAsia lecture series is held in collaboration between the Art Gallery of New South Wales and the University of Sydney. Students enrolled for Term One of the VisAsia Arts of Asia Lunchtime lecture series at the Art Gallery of New South Wales may attend an additional four lectures at the University of Sydney. Dr Michell's lectures also form part of an accredited University of Sydney Department of Art History and Theory Special Studies Unit which is free to enrolled university students.
