Urandali is an Aboriginal man born in Collarenebri, the flat country of North West New South Wales. His language is Kamilaroi. During his artistic career, Gavan has had many exhibitions and been involved in various artistic projects. He is a qualified teacher and continues to work and teach art throughout Australia. In 1995, along with his wife Alanna opened the Gavala Aboriginal Art Centre to support and promote other Aboriginal artists in communities throughout Australia. He has since been involved in many indigenous projects and has collaborated on important projects with other Aboriginal artists. Prince Harry recently purchased a painting of Urandali's.
