An exhibition of contemporary paintings - large and small canvases of land and seascapes.

Jane Flowers – Jane’s large oils on canvas show a passion for the colours, patterns, textures and light inherent in our Australian landscape and coastlines. Jane’s images reflect her love of sailing and the great outdoors her paintings are concerned with capturing the essence of a time and place.

Robert Holcombe – Robert’s abstracted landscapes are a statement of the beauty and harshness yet fragility, of this untamed land, expressed through strong, thick and thin lines dissecting, submerging and reappearing amongst varying textures and colours. Manipulating the work surface by the means of rubbing, scraping, wiping, scumbling, allowing the paint to run and glazing makes for a rich tapestry of design.
