FREIGHT Gallery & Studio
Freight Gallery offers people living with a mental illness the opportu-nity to develop new skills or expand on existing skills in the visual arts. Freight artists can work in various mediums: painting, photography, ceramics, digital media, sculpture or textiles. Participants also receive professional development and training in arts administration, curation and installation. Artists are encouraged to exhibit their work for sale, generating income and new employment opportunities for its members.

The Proper Shoes � Community Performance and Radio
This project is for young women experiencing disability between 14 and 24 culminating in a new radio play. The Proper Shoes explores the journeys of young women with intellectual disabilities as they move towards adulthood. The Proper Shoes is now in phase two of the project�s development.

Arts Inside � Community Arts
A community arts project for people with persistent mental illness who reside in hostels across the Swan region. Arts Inside provides residents of hostels with access to the visual arts through multi arts workshops and community arts projects.

The Loose Teeth - Music
Under the Musical Direction of the Band�s founder Peter Flavelle DADAA WA�s acclaimed percussion ensemble has over the years devel-oped into a Big Band, offering a highly interactive Music development program for people with disabilities who want to develop skills in com-position and performance.

The Wisdom Teeth - Music
Formed in 2003, The Wisdom Teeth provides an integrated place for musicians with and without disabilities who have the common desire to jam, compose new material and perform to new audiences across Perth. The Wisdom Teeth is for experienced musicians who share a common love of music.

Dance One � Dance
A developmental dance program for young dancers for adults and younger adults with disabilities who want to develop a wide range of movement skills as they work towards new works for public perform-ance. No pre-involvement in dance required.

An intensive program for young adults with previous experience in dance. This workshop series will result in the development of a new work for public performance.

Vicinity Film Project
An inclusive fimmaking project, established through partnership with the Ethnic Disability Advocacy Centre. Vicinity provides an introduction to screen culture through screen writing and film production work-shops. Vicinity offers access to a supportive program including a film club, designed to increase recreation opportunities and extend partici-pants opportunities to view, analyse and explore screen culture.
This two year project is supported by the Gorden Reid Foundation and aims to increase the number of West Australian with disabilities partici-pating in all aspects of filmmaking.
