pilgrimage is an eclectic selection of Zigi's images taken during her travels over the last two years, through Australia, India and her native Latvia. They are a unique blending of her fantasy and reality. Zigi prefaces her artist's statement with a quotation from the photographer Lewis Hine "If I could tell the story in words I wouldn't need a camera".
