Michael Kenna

Born in England and a graduate of the London College of Printing, Michael Kenna has made San Francisco his home since the late 1970s. His early work acknowledges influences by fellow British photographer Bill Brandt but he has moved on to his own unique and elegant style with subjects ranging from the gardens of Versailles to factories in Michigan.
