Sophie Scahill's images originate in response to personal experiences,
both physical and spiritual, within an urban environment.
Each work evolves as a pictorial narrative, serving up slices of urban
life which capture the beauty and strength of this modern city.
Her vibrant streetscapes and seascapes emerge from different layers
of time and place within the environment, juxtaposing the organic and
the inorganic, to bring the viewer a unique perspective on the
city of Sydney
