"Australia's ancient authenticity and fragile diversity, its intimacy and expanse of earth, sea and sky continually fill me with awe and wonder. I believe art create mirrors into the world, allowing us to see the world and ourselves anew, our vulnerability, precarious renewal and sacredness. These paintings explore the clarity of pure seeing and our inter-connectedness with nature through colour and space. Working with the stuff of coloured pigments, embodying perceptions, is my path"

" I spend much time choosing the rocks to work with, and then sitting with them so that the integrity of their presence can be maintained during and after the sculpting process. Leaving some of the original surface untouched is important as it carries the imprint of the place itself and the process that led to the rock formation"
