Leichhardt Council is attempting to secure an industrial building currently owned by State Transit (the bus people), for a significant studio complex, which if successful will include a mix a studios for artists and crafts people, commercial spaces for arts related industries including designers, residential studios for visiting artists and two artist run galleries, cafe and management and meeting offices. (After securing the building they will need to find the money.)
